Garden Guardian

On a recent, unseasonably warm day we discovered this 'green' anole sunning himself in our garden. Green anoles turn brown when temperatures drop below 60 degrees. He willingly posed for several photographs and blinked kindly at me when I thanked him for visiting us. I hope he will stick around. Our organic garden provides a safe haven for him. His only real worry is a hungry hawk.

Hi, This is my first time on this site or your blog. My wife and I live in west central Ga. This year we are making our first attempt at growing an organic garden. We are in our mid-twenties and neither of us have much experience with plants. We are always looking for others who share the same interests. It's difficult to find like-minded folks around here, much less good food. Any advice or interest would be greatly appreciated.
Peace-
